Copa DA 2026 – AI Summit 2026 is a full-day event for Welsh businesses, taking place on Wednesday 15 July 2026 at AberInnovation, Aberystwyth.

The Business Wales AI programme has been designed to remove barriers for Welsh SMEs to adopt AI, providing trusted, practical, and accessible support.

Businesses across Powys and Ceredigion can now access grant funding of up to £4,999 to help them adopt smart LoRaWAN technology through the Growing Mid Wales LoRaWAN Project. The initiative supports organisations to explore practical uses of sensors, monitoring systems and connected devices that can improve efficiency, reduce costs and strengthen day‑to‑day operations.

Local employers in Powys can now access fully funded support to create meaningful, year‑long job opportunities for young people through the Porth Gwyrdd / Green Gateway programme. The five‑year project helps marginalised young people aged 16–30 begin sustainable careers with employers who are committed to environmental or green‑focused practices.

Member company gloversure has recently completed a project with a Mid Wales manufacturing business to modernise a long-standing core system that had been central to day-to-day operations for many years.The company had been relying on a Microsoft Access database that, while dependable in earlier years, had become increasingly restrictive as the business expanded.
