New Funding Available to Help Mid Wales Businesses Adopt Smart IoT Technology
Businesses across Powys and Ceredigion can now access grant funding of up to £4,999 to help them adopt smart LoRaWAN technology through the Growing Mid Wales LoRaWAN Project. The initiative supports organisations to explore practical uses of sensors, monitoring systems and connected devices that can improve efficiency, reduce costs and strengthen day‑to‑day operations.
The project is open to a wide range of sectors — including hospitality, tourism, food and drink, agriculture, retail, manufacturing and environmental services — with applications such as energy monitoring, equipment tracking, temperature and stock control, flood alerts and air‑quality monitoring. Crucially, businesses do not need any technical experience; hands‑on support is provided throughout to help identify suitable use cases and guide implementation.
Further details, eligibility information and the Expression of Interest form are available via the Growing Mid Wales website.
