For over 30 years, Radnor has produced bottled, canned and TetraPak drinks using pure Welsh spring water sourced metres from the production line. Customers include schools, retailers and supermarkets nationwide.
Role Overview
The Goods In Manager leads the full Goods In department, ensuring all inbound materials are received, inspected, recorded, stored and distributed accurately and compliantly. The role is responsible for stock accuracy, traceability, BRC and customer compliance, team leadership, and ensuring uninterrupted supply to production.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all Goods In operations, ensuring efficient processing of inbound deliveries.
Ensure materials are booked in, checked, quality‑verified and stored correctly.
Oversee accurate completion of inbound documentation in line with company, supplier and customer standards.
Maintain full traceability of raw materials and packaging via Business Central (BC).
Manage and develop the Goods In team, including training, performance and shift planning.
Coordinate inbound deliveries with Planning and Logistics teams.
Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and full stock takes.
Ensure production areas are consistently supplied to prevent downtime.
Oversee quarantine processes for non‑conforming materials.
Ensure compliance with BRC, customer requirements, food safety, health & safety and environmental standards.
Lead trailer inspections, COA verification and retained sample checks.
Manage movements between on‑site and off‑site warehouses.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor KPIs including stock accuracy, delivery performance and audit outcomes.
Represent Goods In at SIC meetings and ensure effective communication across shifts.
Escalate supply risks or operational issues impacting production or service levels.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
Experience managing a fast‑paced Goods In or warehouse function within BRC or food manufacturing.
Strong understanding of stock control and traceability systems.
Experience in project management and process improvement.
Proficient in WMS, MS Excel and SAP.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Self‑motivated and results‑driven.
