The Game Change Project CIC and Morland UK celebrate three-year partnership and call for more purpose-led business collaboration.
A shared commitment to local young people, social impact, and community change shows what long-term partnership between business and the voluntary sector can achieve.
The Game Change Project CIC is proud to celebrate three years of partnership with Welshpool-based manufacturer Morland UK (Interior Products Group), marking a successful collaboration built on shared values, practical support, and a joint commitment to creating brighter futures for young people and communities.
Over the past three years, the partnership between The Game Change Project and Morland has demonstrated the value of meaningful collaboration between the non-profit and business sectors. By combining community insight with corporate commitment, the partnership has helped strengthen opportunities for young people and highlighted how businesses can play a powerful role in social change.
The anniversary is not only a moment to reflect on what has been achieved together, but also an opportunity to encourage more businesses to explore long-term partnerships with purpose-driven organisations.
The connection between the two organisations began at the Powys Business Awards, organised by the Mid Wales Manufacturing Group, where both The Game Change Project CIC and Morland were recognised as award winners. That first meeting laid the foundations for a relationship built on a belief that strong partnerships and grass roots support can create lasting value far beyond individual organisations.
The Game Change Project CIC works to support and empower young people through skills based, outdoor learning programmes, while Morland has shown how businesses can go beyond traditional corporate responsibility by investing in relationships that deliver real and lasting community impact.
Sian Roberts, Co-founder of The Game Change Project CIC said:
“Over the last three years, Morland has been more than a supporter — they have been a genuine partner. Their commitment to our work and to the young people and communities we serve has helped us grow our impact and strengthen what we do. This partnership shows what is possible when businesses and community organisations come together with a shared vision.”
James Morris, Managing Director of Morland UK said:
“We are incredibly proud of our partnership with The Game Change Project CIC. Over the past three years, we have seen first-hand the difference that strong community partnerships can make. We hope this anniversary encourages more businesses to consider how they can work alongside non-profits to create meaningful, long-term change.”
At a time when communities continue to face complex social and economic challenges, partnerships like this offer a model for how organisations across sectors can work together effectively. Long-term collaboration allows charities, social enterprises, and community interest companies to plan more confidently, reach more people, and build sustainable impact, while enabling businesses to make a genuine contribution to the places and people around them.
As they celebrate this milestone, The Game Change Project CIC and Morland are also using the occasion to champion a wider message: that future-focused, socially minded partnerships should become the norm, not the exception.
By sharing this success, both organisations hope to inspire other businesses to build partnerships rooted in trust, shared purpose, and a commitment to making a difference.
