Quality Control Tools - Newtown

Quality Control Tools

Thursday 13th June, 9.30am - 4.30pm, Newtown

Seven Quality Control Tools

Who will benefit?

This will benefit individuals working in product and service sectors wishing to bring about process improvement through the implementation of various QC tools.

Workshop Objectives

Organisations often miss out on making simple product and process improvements due to lack of data, resulting in poor decision making, unnecessary expenditure, complaints, non-value added activity and internal and external stakeholder frustration.

By implementing QC tools to gather data, acquire knowledge and gather facts, logical decisions can be made which easily eliminate many of the issues mentioned, resulting in good decision making, reduced expenditure, reduced customer issues, reduced non-value added activity and happier stakeholders.

Various numerical and practical activities are used throughout the workshop which attendees can then go back to their organisation and implement. The outline aims of the workshop are to identify and understand:

  • Why improve processes?;

  • The importance of data gathering and knowledge;

  • The Seven QC Tools - Theory, benefits, application and implementation;

  • Exercises to apply and use the Seven QC Tools;

  • Additional tools and applications.
