Innovation Funding Programme Now Open
A new Innovation Funding Programme has launched, offering financial support to accelerate near‑to‑market or market‑ready technologies within the UK offshore wind supply chain.
Funding awards range from £25,000 to £200,000 per project, with a total programme value of £1 million. The focus is on advancing innovation across two priority areas:
• Industrial Foundations and Substructures
• Substations and Electrical Design
The programme aims to drive forward disruptive solutions that enhance the UK’s global competitiveness in offshore wind, strengthen supply chain capability, and support long‑term industrial growth.
Applications are welcomed from organisations already active in offshore wind, as well as those seeking to diversify into the sector. The innovation themes have been shaped with strong interest from leading industry stakeholders.
Applications close on Friday 20 March at 17:00.
