The £300m GB Energy Supply Chain Fund for Offshore Wind & Networks is now live!


This fund is part of GB Energy’s wider £1bn Energy, Engineered in the UK (EEUK) supply chain programme and is specifically targeting the following supply chain components:


Offshore Wind: Blades, Nacelles, Towers, Transition Pieces, Mooring & Anchoring


Networks: HVDC Cables, HVAC Cables, Power Transformers (AC & DC), HVDC Converter Stations, Switchgear, Reactive Power Management & Control systems

In parallel, GB Energy has also confirmed the development of a Deepwater Wind Commercialisation Programme in partnership with industry. This will focus on the development of Floating Offshore Wind and deep-water fixed bottom technology solutions. More details to follow.
