Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Manufacturing Apprentice to join our team at Montgomery Waters in the beautiful rural settings of Churchstoke. This role is vital in supporting our production processes and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional bottled water products. As a Manufacturing Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians and production operatives, learning how to safely and efficiently run our bottling and packaging lines. You’ll gain hands-on experience across all areas of the production process – from raw material handling and machinery operation to quality checks and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting production line operations and machine setup

  • Monitoring product quality and recording key production data

  • Learning maintenance and fault-finding basics on bottling equipment

  • Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures

  • Working as part of a team to meet production targets

  • Participating in training sessions and completing coursework toward your qualification

Training:

You’ll work towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Manufacturing Apprenticeship - Food and Drink , delivered in partnership with Cambrian Training. Training will include a mix of on-the-job learning and classroom sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine interest in food & drink manufacturing

  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above preferred)
