Young Person’s Start Up Grant

The Young Person's Start Up Grant is a Welsh Government funded initiative that offers financial support and guidance to young people in Wales under 25 who want to start their own businesses.

The grant provides up to £2,000 and is accompanied by a comprehensive support package, including one-to-one advice, webinars, and phased learning to help young entrepreneurs develop their business ideas and become self-employed.

Eligibility criteria include being unemployed, working part-time with the intention to become full-time self-employed, or planning to become self-employed within three months of completing education.
