Businesses in Mid Wales Connect with Key Funders at Successful “Meet the Funders” Event
Mid Wales Manufacturing Group (MWMG) welcomed business leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators to its “Meet the Funders” event on Thursday 18th September. The half-day session provided an invaluable opportunity for regional businesses to learn directly from funders, explore financial opportunities, and gain practical insights into unlocking investment for growth and innovation.

Opening the event, Ceri Stephens, Group Manager of MWMG, highlighted the region’s strengths in engineering, manufacturing, food, and digital innovation, while stressing the importance of financial support in enabling businesses to scale, innovate, and succeed.
“This morning is about making connections — between businesses with ambition and funders with resources. By the end of today, we hope every attendee feels more informed, motivated, and confident to take the next step,” said Stephens.
The event concluded with refreshments and networking, allowing attendees to build lasting relationships with funders and peers.
