Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Hourly Rate: ÂŁ13.50-ÂŁ16 per hour (dependent on experience)
About the role
Join our dynamic workshop team as a Welder/Fabricator, where you'll play a crucial role in manufacturing our high-quality forklift attachments. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities
¡ Perform MIG welding operations on materials ranging from 3mm to 40mm in thickness.
¡ Utilize strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes.
¡ Follow and interpret technical drawings accurately.
¡ Inspect welds to ensure accuracy and quality.
¡ Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
¡ Coded welding experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
Candidate Requirements
¡ Minimum Level 2 Welding & Fabrication certification.
¡ Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or in a similar role.
¡ Proficiency in using band saws, pillar drills, and welder setup.
¡ Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
¡ Previous forklift training is advantageous.
¡ Experience with Stainless Steel TIG welding is a plus.
