Innovate UK Opens £2 Million Funding Competition for High‑Growth Manufacturing SMEs

Innovate UK has launched a major new funding opportunity aimed at boosting innovation and accelerating growth within the UK’s advanced manufacturing supply chains. A total of £2 million is available to support micro, small and medium‑sized enterprises working to overcome technical or commercial barriers that are slowing down their route to market.

The competition offers grants of £50,000 to £100,000 for projects that strengthen manufacturing capabilities, improve productivity, or unlock new commercial opportunities. This is a significant opportunity for ambitious SMEs looking to scale, adopt new technologies, or bring innovative products closer to commercialisation.

Eligible projects must focus on manufacturing process innovation, supply chain development, or commercial readiness, and must demonstrate clear potential for economic impact and long‑term growth. Innovate UK is particularly interested in supporting businesses that can help build stronger, more resilient UK supply chains.

The competition is open now and closes on 22 April 2026 at 11am.
