Maintenance Engineer, CDT Sidoli, Welshpool
CDT Sidoli ( Welshpool ) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of premium Luxury desserts supplying high-quality products to customers across the uk and beyond. Due to continued investment and business growth, we are looking to recruit a enthusiastic maintenance engineer to join our established team at our production facility on the Shropshire/Powys border in Welshpool. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful, forward-thinking business where no 2 days are the same.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our production facility operating efficiently and safely. You’ll work on a wide range of equipment, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and responding to reactive breakdowns across the site on a double day shift Monday to Friday 6am till 2pm one week and 1.30pm till 9.30pm the next week.
Your responsibilities will include
Planned preventative maintenance ( PPM )
Fault finding, diagnosis and repairs.
Maintaining Automated production and packaging machinery.
General maintenance of site services and plant equipment.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Working safely in line with company procedures and engineering standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who is
Qualified to level 2 (minimum) in an engineering discipline.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong communicator with a positive “can do “attitude.
Passionate about engineering and continuous improvement.
Experience in a food manufacturing would be advantageous but not essential.
Ideally multiskilled across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
