Managing Multi Generational Teams - Newtown

Managing Multi-Generational Teams

Wednesday 10th February 9.30am - 12.30pm, Newtown

FREE TO ATTEND

Who will benefit?

This will benefit all individuals who either lead, manage or  work within multi-generational teams.

Workshop Objectives

Many companies face challenges of managing across the generations (Gen X (or Baby Boomers), Millennials and Gen Z).

People from each generation typically have differing requirements. In addition, individuals, regardless of their generation, have different behavioural styles, values and traits which means leaders and managers have to adapt to requirements.

It was once said that leaders and managers must ‘treat people the same’. However, it is now recognised that this is not the case and that in order to get the best from people, you must ‘treat people fairly’.

Various self-assessments and practical activities are used throughout the workshop, the outline aims of which are to identify and understand:

The generations

What are they looking for and the challenges that leaders and managers must address

Adapting to the generations to get the best from them

Specific areas for focus and action

Actions to take away
