System Engineer (Software)


Greeve Systems are a successfully growing Systems Engineering company based on the Powys/Shropshire border. Our projects cover software, electronics and full system design and development.

Work is varied and will provide visibility of all stages of a product life-cycle, from requirements capture, specification writing and detailed design, to testing, delivery, support and eventual end of life. This also includes overhaul and repair of existing products and research and development of new innovative systems to overcome industry identified problems.

The Greeve team have a wide range of experience and are looking for enthusiastic, innovative individuals to join our team and contribute to the future direction and expansion of the company.

Essential Skills

C, C++


Desired Experience

Open DDS or working with other real-time publish/subscribe network datmodels

Developing in and customising Linux

Implementing inter-process communication systems

Experience implementing secure systems and encryption protocols

Overview of the role

The role will include research and development to specification.

Documenting development in a formal manner: to include calculations, diagrams and technical reports.

Completing technical and regulatory requirement and documentation

General Support the Engineering and management team
