Since 2015, the Wipak Group has been focussing on health and safety improvements, with the aim of achieving “zero harm”. This has resulted in an 80% reduction of accidents since 2016. However, the last two years have been flat in terms of improvement, so we have instigated a Group-wide training program of every employee called “I can make a difference” which is close to completion. This training program is aimed at providing all of our employees with the mindset, knowledge, capabilities and operating culture to move from a reactive to interdependent safety behaviours. We invite you to our manufacturing site in Welshpool on World H&S at Work Day to see our progress, experience our safety process, and give us feedback for improvement based on your experiences.
