Managing Underperforming Employees

Underperforming employees can have a hugely detrimental effect on organisations, not only with regards to their own lack of productivity and efficiency, but the knock on effect this can have on general workplace morale and the productivity of their colleagues.

It can be tempting to put off addressing these issues for a number of reasons, such as a lack of management time, fear of the unknown, or concerns that the employee will become even more difficult to manage or bring a claim against the company.

We will be taking a look at poorly performing employees, including those who may have been underperforming for a long time, and we shall consider the options available to organisations to deal with these scenarios. We will dispel some myths around performance management and look at practical and commercial ways to address these issues and how we can also minimise the risks of any resultant claims being brought successfully.

There will also be the opportunity to network with fellow attendees both before and after the seminar and delegates will have the opportunity to speak to a member of our employment team should they have any specific queries or points they would like to discuss with us.
