This qualification is designed to ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public.  The Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the workplace meets the needs for training and will provide employees with an appreciation of the fundamentals of good health and safety practice.  Upon successful completion of a multiple-choice examination a CIEH certificate will be awarded.

This Level 3 qualification is designed for those who are, or intend to be, supervisors of food handlers within the catering and hospitality industry.  Holders will gain a broad knowledge of food safety and food hygiene, enabling them to identify problem areas and recommend solutions.  The qualification is firmly based on the level 3 National Occupational Standards developed by People 1st, the Sector Skills Council for the hospitality industry and is an ideal progression from the Level 2 Award in Food Safety.
