CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling

Half day 9am - 1pm

Every employer must ensure that staff must not undertake manual handling without a proper risk assessment and appropriate training.  The level 2 award in principles of Manual Handling provides employees with the knowledge and practical skills to apply safe lifting techniques.  Upon successful completion of a multi-choice examination a CIEH certificate will be awarded.

RSPH Level 3 Award in Food Safety Supervision

Four Days 9.30am - 5pm

This Level 3 qualification is designed for those who are, or intend to be, supervisors of food handlers within the catering and hospitality industry.  Holders will gain a broad knowledge of food safety and food hygiene, enabling them to identify problem areas and recommend solutions.  The qualification is firmly based on the level 3 National Occupational Standards developed by People 1st, the Sector Skills Council for the hospitality industry and is an ideal progression from the Level 2 Award in Food Safety.

The Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Level 2 Award in Team Leading has been specifically designed to give practising or aspiring team leaders a solid foundation in their formal development as a leader.  This is a concise qualification intended to give candidates a basic knowledge of the various roles, functions and responsibilities of a team leader and the limits of their aithority and accountability.  There are no formal entry requirements, but candidates will normally be either practising or aspiring team leaders with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands, and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.

This qualification covers all aspects of the First Aid requirement for the first aider in the workplace and is carried out by an approved trainer. EFAW training enables a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. Upon succesful completion of this qualification an Emergency First Aid at work certificate will be awarded that is valid for three years.
