About MWMGOur missionTo be a central driving force in the enhancement of local manufacturing business. Our strength is in our members The strength and effectiveness of the group lies in its Member Companies, representing manufacturing businesses of all sizes and types right across Mid Wales. We are a unique organisation being run by manufacturers for manufacturers, run as a private limited company, funded through a combination of membership fees, Public Sector funding and commercial sponsorship. We have an office in Newtown, with small conference facilities. Manufacturing is the largest business sector in Mid Wales. We campaign to ensure that manufacturers have a voice at local arid regional decision-making forums.  The group is a full member of the Mid Wales Partnership and sits on the Board of the Powys Regeneration Group. The group has a strong record of achievement and performance. Since its founding in 1994 the group has grown from being run by a Board of Directors on a part time basis to employing three highly-experienced full-time staff. The Group is credited with founding the Shared Apprentice scheme and launching 'Lean Methodologies' into Mid Wales as well as facilitating the profitable growth of many new and small businesses.
