PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Mid Wales Manufacturing Group are offering an excellent opportunity for your business to go and showcase your products at a UK exhibition. We will subsidise 70% of your costs up to a maximum amount of £5,000 per company per exhibition with the beneficiary company paying 30%. The programme receives funding from the Rural Development Plan 2007-2013 as well as Powys County Council and will run for over two years

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible businesses must:
Be manufacturers based in Powys
Employ 10 staff or less
Wish to attend a UK exhibition or show to demonstrate their products
Be able to provide a business case based on potential sales as a result of attending the event

HOW TO APPLY
If you are interested in exhibiting, there will be three workshops per year. You may apply for grants directly or after a workshop. A report would then be generated and appraised by the project steering. Applications would be invited from all micro manufacturing companies, not just members of the Mid Wales Manufacturing Group. Project delivery staff would assist the company in completing the application form.

CONDITIONS AND TERMS
The costs are estimated at application stage, but payment would be made against actual costs to be verified ultimately by original receipts/invoices, and payment would be made after the exhibition has been attended.
Eligible costs include: Entry fees, Equipment hire costs and other legitimate expenditure, such as literature and samples.
The grant does not cover travelling or sustenance costs. No purchase of Equipment will be eligible for grant support
The actual grant paid may be lower if costs come in cheaper than expected.
The exhibition will take place within the time period of the project and the grant awarded is restricted to that named exhibition.
The deadline for applications will be no later than the 31st of December 2010.
